About Maple
Bringing communities closer together.
Some of the best moments happen in the communities we're part of. A school trip, a sports day, a first performance or simply something worth celebrating.
But sharing those moments isn't always straightforward.
Schools, clubs and community groups often rely on public social media, messaging apps and emails to keep everyone informed. Important updates get lost, photos end up in places they shouldn't and families can miss out on what's happening.
We believe there's a better way.
Why we started Maple
Maple started with a simple idea: communities should have their own private space to share what's happening.
A place where teachers can share classroom moments with parents. Where sports clubs can keep families updated during a tournament. Where community groups can bring their members together.
Without the distractions of social media or the complexity of another management system.
We wanted to create something that feels familiar, is easy to use and puts the community first.
Built with privacy in mind
Privacy is particularly important when children are involved.
We believe organisations should be in control of what they share and who gets to see it.
That's why Maple is built around private communities, invited members and clear access permissions.
It's about giving organisations the confidence to share more of what's happening, while helping families feel comfortable about where those moments are being shared.
More than just photos
Photos and updates are where we're starting, but our vision for Maple goes further.
We want to make it easier for communities to stay connected, organise activities and share information without juggling different platforms.
Whether it's following a school residential, keeping up with a local club or finding out what's happening in your community, Maple should make the everyday a little easier.
And as Maple grows, we'll keep the same principle at its heart: simple tools that bring people together.
Made in the UK, for communities everywhere
Maple is an independent platform being developed in the UK, with a simple goal: to give real-world communities a better way to stay connected.
We're starting with schools and community organisations, listening to the people who use them and building something that can grow alongside their needs.
Because being part of a community should mean feeling part of what's happening.
